Remx Art Design
In Quebec, REMX is the renowned expert when it comes to body art, airbrush technique and mural design. Doing business with REMX means quality, professional, hassle-free services.
REMX’s mural decoration services create custom artwork painted on interior or exterior walls. These services are mainly offered to companies in Laval, Lanaudière, the Laurentians and the greater Montreal area seeking to enhance their corporate image with a magnificent mural representing their logo, mission or any other element to help them stand out. REMX also offers individuals the possibility of incorporating a trompe-l'oeil style into their homes or services to simply enhance all kinds of decor. By combining the airbrush technique with that of the traditional brush, original murals are created with an artistic style inspired by a unique, contemporary look that only REMX knows how to do. These can be designed during live festivities, thereby creating a spectacular event. Acquiring a permanent REMX artwork for your company would increase its visibility or, even for yourself, would enhance the style of your home!
With over 20 years of experience, Rémy Audette is a Montréal visual artist with a degree in art and industrial design, specializing in body painting and airbrush techniques. He has established himself as one of the best in this artistic discipline. From Toronto to Rio de Janeiro, he is one of the most sought-after artists in Canada in this industry. In 2004, after graduating with a Bachelor of Industrial Design, he received the prestigious award from the Université de Montréal’sInstitut de design (IDM)/Bombardier for his work. At the young age of 26, Rémy was described by journalist Guy Gauthier in The Hype magazine as a promising designer and artistic director with numerous talents. In 1999, he created his own business REM-X, which he incorporated in 2007 to better develop his services and meet businesses’ growing needs for major promotional events. A year later, he won third place in the Face and Body Art Convention (body painting) contest in Orlando, Florida. REM-X has quickly become a coveted service for many large events in Montréal and Québec City such as Montréal’s very popular Bal en Blanc, the Montréal Auto Show, Festival Divers/Cité Montréal, the Osheaga Music and ArtsFestival and the Beach Club, North America’s largest outdoor club. In 2019, he collaborated on Céline Dion’s music video, “Lying Down”, as head designer in painting 40 dancers. A proud expert of his art, Rémy Audette has been sharing his knowledge with students at Collège LaSalle (formerly Collège Inter-Dec) in Montréal and Laval since 2009.
While body painting has been the driving force behind REM-X since its inception, nowadays, Rémy’s art is being applied in designing personalized murals and canvases, especially for businesses that want to promote their brand artistically. You can appreciate some of his murals in restaurants such as Le Bâton Rouge, La Belle et La Bœuf, Mikes, Carlos & Pepe’s and several other businesses.
